    Default E15hp vs Monolith

    Hi
I currently have a Monolith M15v2 which is awesome. But will a E15hp be an upgrade for music only setup?
A youtube review really likes E15hp but not sure if it will be worth since I already have a good sub

For music, the Rythmik (all of them) are incredible. They are equally adept for HT. I’ve not heard the Monolith but my belief is the Rythmik will be a worthwhile upgrade. FEIW, I have 2 of the E15HP in my setup and am mostly music. Plus their customer service and integrity is top notch- just like Ascend

    Thank you that helps
I see there are two versions of E15hp - 600w and 1000w. Do you happen to know if 1000w is a noticeable upgrade over 600w

Sorry, I don’t know for sure. The extra power could benefit with highly dynamic music with loud peaks. Looks to be around $150 upcharge. Mine are the 600 watt versions (as I recall when I purchased the regular e15 had a 300 or 400 watt amp and the hp was 600. That said, for the small upcharge I’d get the 1000 watt version today if I were buying.

Both are stellar subs imo....Rythmik advantages would likely yeild more mid bass...where most of today's movie Excel....otoh ...the Monolith would likely dig deeper...to meet the THX certification...which is a very stringent achievement.
