    Default Huge Ascend fan from the Northeast of US

    Was a former LX owner, sold it to fund the ELX. Order submitted and waiting for the black cabinets to arrive before assembly.

    Very impressed with the work that Dave is doing there.

    Anyone outfitted their ELX with Isoacoustic GAIA? How is the stability, does it tip over easily?

    Hi and welcome! Current LX owner. They're neat! So are Dave & Dina.

    I don't own ELXs but I've seen pictures of them with the GAIA feet. Seems like a viable option but I'll defer to an actual owner with experience.

    I have the ELX RAAL towers on GAIA (II’s as I recall). Very stable and keeps speakers in place. Expensive but recommended. I’ve used the GAIA’s since I got the Towers a few years ago as v1. Never used the included spikes or base only so can’t comment if they did anything good or bad to the sound quality. That said, the ELX Towers are amazing soundwise
    * LG OLED65E6P, BenqHT2050A
    * Anthem AVM90, Rogue ST100, VTV Pascal 7 ch
    * Sierra Towers/Horizon (all ELX RAAL), S2EXv2 surrounds, HTM200SEx4 heights, Rythmik E15HPx2
    * VPI Classic 1+ (VTA & Fatboy Gimbal), PE Eagle/RR, VAS NOVA, Soundsmith Paua, Manley Chinook, Bob's Devices SUT, SugarCube 1 mini
    * Oppo 203 & 103D, EverSolo DMP-A6
    * miniDSP Flex, Audiosensibility & Blue Jeans cables, Symposium & Isoacoustics, GIK

    Great to know. I have ordered the Isoacoustics already, because they were on sale; they never go on sale, so I took advantage of it. I was debating if I needed outrigger legs but doesn't sound like it.

    I was at Capitol Audiofest few weeks back, Isoacoustics had a room and they were conducting AB demo on the same model speaker, one with the GAIA and one without and you can clearly hear the difference. Also, Dave Morrison, the founder of Isoacoustics, was heavily associated with research at the NRC (National Research Council of Cananda), anything coming out of the NRC is all legit science backed with scientific research.

    When my ELX comes in (I got at least 3 months wait due to the black cabinets being back ordered), I will do an AB for myself.
