Hi guys, I need some help deciding what to get within the Sierra series for my LCR upgrade, which would bring my current 5.1 HT setup to 7.1. My usage is 60/40 between movies and gaming; my HT room is about 17x17x9' with one side open to a bigger area, and I sit roughly 11' from the front speakers. Current setup:

  • LR: KEF Q150s
  • Center: KEF Q650c
  • Surround rears: KEF Ci200QL
  • Sub: RSL Speedwoofer 10S MkII
  • AVR: Denon S760H

I was initially set on the KEF R series (R3/R2 meta), but then discovered the Sierra series, which I'm now leaning towards. Given that I will get the Horizon v2 center, what benefits would the RAAL ribbon or titan dome tweeter have over the other considering my use case?

For the LR channels, between the LX, 2EX v2, and Duo v2, what does each of these speakers do better than the rest?

Also, if anyone has heard both the KEF R series and any of the Sierra lineup, how do the KEFs compare?

And I guess these questions are more for Dave: Are you planning to release any of these speakers in white? Will there be any Black Friday deals?
