I purchased my last car a year ago and I was choosing between a Toyota and a Lexus and decided to get the Lexus. I liked the higher end materials and comfort. Yes both are good options but I wanted the higher end materials Thanks for the suggestion though. I’m still researching subwoofers again. So many options
Totally respect that! Lexus makes some great cars - I love that the IS500 still has an NA V8 in it.

Speaking of companies that have a product called LX, have you tried the (non-vehicular) Sierra LX? I haven't heard the Sierra 1 so I can't compare, but I've been loving my LXs ever since I got them a few weeks ago.

Re: subwoofers, again my experience is limited, but the FVX12 has been a blast. If that was still on your list, maybe someone at Rythmik could give you a time frame of upcoming availability?

Checked the Rythmik website and the FVX15 still on back order. Now I am looking at the REL ht 1510 or REL 1205 or HSU ULS-15 MK2. I think these options will work for me

    Agree with Curtis.
I’m not sure which RELs, but I’ve seen on other forums can be lacking in lower bass -as I recall from around 40 hz and below. The roll off was pretty steep as well

Agree with Curtis on being patient for a Rythmik.

You could also check with Dina @ Ascend regarding Rythmik as they sell them as well. My 2 FV12 HT subs were purchased through Ascend.

Rythmik orders through Ascend are shipped directly from Rythmik in TX, so I'd expect the stock situation to be the same.

After communicating with REL they recommended their home theater subs and felt that with the speakers I was considering that the HT 1205 would work for me. It wouldn’t overpower my speakers. Its extension is -6db at 22hz. I don’t need the subsonic affects. As one responder stated in a subwoofer thread he didn’t need to feel that he was in the middle of a battle field. He just wanted to hear it. That’s exactly the same feeling I have

I think I can speak for everyone here that has a Rythmik; It isn't about "feeling it" or output. It is about sound quality. Rythmik is sound quality, and they have models with great output and play low.

To the comment of hearing it vs feeling it. Have you felt "it"? You loved your friend's SVS setup, I would be surprised if he didn't play a demo where you felt it. Most may say they don't "need" subsonic effects, but I guarantee if they had a choice, they would love having the capability.
