I recently watched then bought Deepwater Horizon. It's a great movie and full of camaraderie... I know all about being out at sea!!!
It's an excellent movie for a subwoofer workout and has good special effects !!!

I watched Blade Runner 2049 a week or so ago. Couldn't recommend it enough. The movie is a masterpiece.

Star Trek Beyond.

Okay but not impressed. Liked the tribute to Leonard Nimoy and the original crew.

The Yorktown space station was a stroke of genius, whoever thought of that.

The plot was so, so. I liked better the previous two movies of the reboot franchise.

If you want a speaker workout, The Great Wall is surprisingly good. It really works the subs, but it also has a really effective surround sound track. I really like blu-rays for source because of the lossless sound tracks. And this blu-ray did not disappoint me.

This movie got a lot of bad press for the casting of Matt Damon in a movie about China, but he plays a European trying to steal from China. I don't see the problem. The movie itself is OK as long as you don't try to take it more seriously than it takes itself, but the excellent sound track is the reason to rent it.

I'll second on Deepwater Horizon, another movie with an excellent surround track, and a heck of a sub workout. This movie has the advantage of being based on a true story, and they tell it straight.
