Default Best way to tak care of piano black finishes

    Hi

Can anyone let me know good cleaning materials to take care of smears, finger prints etc on piano gloss finishes? I was excited with this finish but looks like it's a big maintenance hassle.

    Thanks
    Ron

Just use a dry microfiber cloth. I've heard that if you rub a dryer sheet on surfaces it will repel dust, but I have not tried it.

My tips for keeping your piano black speakers and subs looking like new:

    - Wear gloves when you need to move or adjust your speakers, preferably gloves that have some grip to them so the speakers don't slip out of your hand. This will minimize the fingerprints and smudges on your speakers.

    - Use a feather duster to get the dust off. You could use a microfiber cloth, but your chances of causing micro scratches is higher especially if you use too much pressure.

    - If you have fingerprints and smudges on the speakers, dust them off with the feather duster first, and then use a microfiber cloth in combination with something like this:

If you have some micro scratches that you need to remove, I use this:

This keeps my speakers looking like new. In fact, they look even better than when I first took them out of the box.

Ya, use a microfiber cloth to clean the piano surface. I am ensuring that wont make any scratches with the surface!!
