    Thumbs up National Treasure

I really enjoyed watching this dvd last night. Much better than most of the new releases out now.

The dvd came with a short alternate ending with a comment from the director stating that they didn't intend on making a sequel, since you may get that feeling towards the end of it.

IMO, this was a very entertaining movie, even if it was a little high on the "cheese-factor" in parts. I was definitely held riveted in my seat as I anticipated the next series of clues. One of the few movies I've seen recently that captured my interest 100% from start to finish. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I was hoping the movie would never end!

Having read The Da Vinci Code recently as well, I definitely saw parallels from the book to this movie.

While a little hokey in places, still very entertaining overall. Sort of a combination of Indiana Jones and Sherlock Holmes.
