2.1 amp for pair of older HTM-200SE?
Hi:
Would anyone happen to have recommendations for a 2.1 amp/dac under $400 that would work well with my pair of original HTM 200SE from ~2010?
Will be used on a computer, i.e. "near field" listening, and in researching this, the market appears to be flooded with rebranded units from Shenzhen so it's really confusing. Don't like to play music/games loud, and form factor will be important (i.e. I have an older broken denon avr that I can fix but it would not fit in this space). Just need some clear audio and no hiss. The .1 is in case I decide to add an active sub later.
Thanks for any help

I've been really happy with Loxjie A30 for the same use case. It measures quite well for the money https://www.audiosciencereview.com/f...-review.17547/

Thanks! That's one of the ones in consideration, also looked at smsl raw ha1, rsl's ia255, and the the topping mx3s. Comparing the specs, it is hard to understand what is helpful in my use case. I think the smsl is similar company to loxjie? Remarks on asr's review of the smsl ha1 suggest spending a little more for the wiim, however, the wiim has too many connectivity bells and whistles.
