If you are digitally connecting the streamer to the Denon, you do not need the Ultra (unless it is the screen you like). When connected digitally, you are using the DAC in the Denon. Also, if you are doing any DSP functions like bass management or room correction, any signal going to Denon gets digitized for the DSP function, and then also ends up getting processed by the Denon's DAC.

Personally, I would steer you towards a Rythmik sub. I would also wait on the amp as you may not feel you need it.

What is the cause of the indecision on the center speaker?

I hope you can get the ELX's in white and it isn't cost prohibitive.

For wiim I wanted a digital streamer. I was looking into the wiim mini but then saw the ultra had a dac (and a small screen). It seemed like a good option for overall good price (it's $275 right now).

For the subwoofer I found that Tom at PSA was a lot more helpful and responsive than the people at rythmik. That pretty much sealed my decision as I figured I would probably not be able to discern a difference between the two companies (as I've read they both make great subs, so customer service won out for me).

The center channel is space below my TV. I have about 11.5 inches of clearance. I could possibly move the TV higher but again I feel like if I splurge on the ELX towers I can go a bit cheaper on the center and it'll still be great set up. What are your thoughts?

The Ultra is great. I use one as a preamp/streamer in my bedroom. If you are going to connect it to the Denon, most of its functionality is wasted. All you really need is the WiiM Pro, unless you really want the screen. You do not need the DAC as you will be using the DAC in the Denon.

If the customer service won you out with PSA and is the main selling point, I have no counter. A long time ago I used to think I would not be able to hear the differences in subwoofers until I actually was able to compare them in the same room.

The center channel is arguably the most important speaker in a home theater setup. Personally, I would not get a lesser center than my mains.
