Sub choice

I guess since they sounded good in my friend’s setup. I just communicated with Tom from PSA and he felt that with my moderate listening levels the sealed sub s1512 would work for me. I wouldn’t get chest thumping or window rattling effects but I don’t want that. Also since I will be using them in a near field setup (both sides of couch) it will be perfect for them

I've heard good things about PSA subs. Nothing to lose (except for maybe return shipping) as they have a 60 day in-home trial - if you don't like them, then you can always get the Rythmiks :-)

How do you like your Rythmik E15’s?

Love them. Very articulate subs - great for music and HT. Lots of controls on the amps to tailor/adjust - onboard 1 channel PEQ to tame a peak, rumble filter on/off (mainly for vinyl, but I leave it on all the time), extension filter & damping, etc.

Add in great customer service and really can't go wrong. I had an amp (10+ years old) starting to buzz (capacitor going out)..repair time, including UPS shipping both ways plus 1 way shipping of an amp box from Rythmik, was like 2 days. That said, I'm in Houston and they are in Austin, so only a couple hours drive. Cost for repair/shipping was very reasonable.

That’s good to hear. My decision may come down to thr Rythmik 15” sealed or PSA 15” sealed. SVS recommended to me the sb4000 which just had a $500 price drop but it’s bigger in both size and weight than I am comfortable with

If you are ever in the Los Angeles area, you can listen to my setup of Sierra-LX's, HTM-200SEs, and Rythmik F15HP (which I don't think they make any longer, basically a slightly larger E15HP so has a bit more output).

Correct, I don't see the F15HP on their site any longer. The F15HP is only 0.5 dB more output per Rythmik's site. IMO, good move to consolidate to one model.

Yeah...and I suspect even the slightly smaller size helps to reduce shipping costs.
