Two of my favorite phrases forum related...if it looks good, probably doesn't sound good...and no replacement for displacement...referring to subs...in any event...I'm with Curtis....your on the right track.

Any of the subs that have been discussed will be better than your current dual Sonos setup.
Agree - best location is room dependent. That's why there's the "sub" crawl...either by moving the sub around the room to see where it's loudest at MLP or by putting the sub where your MLP is and walking around the room to see where it's loudest (and thus where to put the sub).

Mine are in the front mainly due to room layout, furniture, location of outlets, and cable length run. The only other potential option would be front left and towards the rear right near the 2nd chair ~25' cable run, more or less, and RCA may/may not work from a "noise" perspective). Perhaps one day I'll try that but my subs sound great & ARC has done a good job with EQ & integration.

Only in a couple of audio show rooms. Looking forward to getting mine set up. Communicated with Enrico from Rythmik and he suggested that I go with the FVX12 but also admitted that they were sold out until December so I may go with what is available when I purchase my components in November

Get out and listen to more if you can. You will gain knowledge every time. Whereabouts do you live?

I understand the want to "get what you want when you want", but don't downgrade the sub because of availability. Did you ask Enrico about options due to availability?

My current car is a 2.0L 4-cylinder that makes 300bhp. Turbo- AND super-charged. Sort of like the Sierra LX, the right tech sure does a convincing job of replacing displacement...
    Titan Horizon V2, 4x S1V2, and Rythmik L22 & L12 in HT1; Sierra-LXs in study; S-2EXs and Duo V2 C&S in bedroom; S-1s at work; HTM-200s in kitchen. Brother owns CMT-340s and dad has a pair of CBM-170s.

Curious - what's the make and model? Volvo S60? About the only "hit" I found on the internet for a 4 cylinder with both.

Visited a friend and he had a couple of SVS sb3000 in his living room setup and they sounded fantastic. He also had the SVS ultra evolution speakers. I think SVS maybe the way I may be headed. They come with phone app to control the subs which is pretty convenient but not the selling point for me. It was the sound
