Thanks for the suggestion. If I could figure out how to post a photo I would post a photo of my current setup. Also was wondering about using Sierra 2EX V2 for my LCR

2EXv2 are also really good. I’m using them as surrounds (they started life as S2 for FL/FR)

For your usage though, the LX is probably the better choice. Sunbyrne, as I recall, did a comparison of both and preferred the LX over S2EXv2 overall. There were a couple of music genres where he gave the edge to the S2

Since I am using the setup mainly for tv and movies the LX is probably the better choice

It all connects to a small area for dining and connects to the kitchen. All without separating walls. I am planning on a center speaker and 2 bookshelf speakers in front and 2 subs. I will plan on 2 rear surrounds if I feel I need them later. Don’t plan on any height speakers. I am pretty well decided on a Denon x4800h for my AV receiver. I will use my system for movie and tv watching about 90% and music 10% with SirusXM. Movies are strictly being streamed. No Blu-ray player.
    Hi cklim1955,

Quick question - approx how far back will you be sitting from the front speakers?

Since I first joined this community I have decided to acquire Sierra LX x3 for my LCR and now I am leaning towards HTM-200SE x 2 for my surrounds and may buy a Rythmik sub LV12M x1. My plan is to get a Marantz Cinema 70s that provides 50w per channel and a Buckeye amplifier that will put out 300w per channel. I plan to first try to run everything with just the receiver and see if I need more power. I will be sitting around 9-10 feet away from the front stage. Thanks for suggesting that I consult with you or your staff to see if I am on the right track

It's actually quite easy to post a photo. You simply click on the icon that says "insert image" or you can link to an image using the "insert link" icon. When inserting an image, it must meet the file and dimension size restrictions so it is best to shrink the image. Maximum width is 680. Maximum height is 640.
