Default Center to go with 340 SE?

Hello, I have a pair of 340s as my LR, I'm looking to add the center speaker. Naturally the 340 Center should be the choice, but I'm wondering if the HTM-200SE pairs well with the LR. Thanks in advance.

The 340se have been upgraded to 340SE2...fyi. I personally wouldn't go with the 200s...BUT I'm not sure how well you'd be able to integrate the new versions with the LR340se...perhaps the CBM 170...

Agree on not using the 200 as center. As the center does a lot of the heavy lifting, I’d go for the best you can afford. Not sure what the rest of your system is (eg what, if any, room correction). This could help with integration.

    Hi Kenimaru,

I strongly recommend going with our 340SE V2 center. It offers the best match with your left/right and is an overall performance upgrade over the 340SE.

Thanks Dave. Is the center exactly the same as the pair, just sold as a single unit?

Yes, only difference is how we orient the labels and the centers are single packed.
