    Default Signature Series update?

Are there any plans to do NFS optimized versions of the Signature Series? And if so, will there be an upgrade path if you own existing SE versions?

Good question - I was curious about this as well.

My guess is that, if it were to happen, it would be after the Sierra series is done. That’s not to say there are plans.

We are having a few minor forum issues right now, however - we will be making an announcement regarding our new CMT-340SE2 within the next week or so... This is a major performance upgrade to an already fantastic and very popular speaker.

Will there be a CBM-170SE2 as well?

It is doubtful - I am really torn on this one. Our 170's have a very large following for both consumer use and commercial use and I am very hesitant to make changes. More info will be understood when I start releasing details on the 340SE2.

Perhaps the original CBM170 SE can still be offered alongside an NFS optimized version? That way, fans of the original can still get them. I would imagine an NFS CBM would be the new de facto budget speaker King.

That is basically my thoughts as well. Either way, this is far down the pipeline. Much depends on feedback of the new 340SE2.
