    Default Back after many years

First got into Ascend Acoustics in 2004 with a pair of CBM-170's, which led to a whole 5.1 set of them. I'm not that into home theater these days and have mostly focused on stereo setups. I'm a musician with a 10 album discography as well as a music collector of sorts.

By 2010 I had gotten into vinyl and was interested in vintage gear. I ended up with a couple old Marantz receivers and some turntables. That evolved, mixing in more modern gear like a pair of Emotiva ERT-8.3 towers.

I started recording more often at home and that necessitated the need for a good computer, interface and monitors. I used my old 170's for that. Over time, that one particular room went through acoustic improvements, amp upgrades and I started to really focus on growing a collection of lossless music on my computer. That became my main system again while my turntables and 300ish records are in the other room collecting dust.

So I'm back here looking into getting a pair of Sierra's but facing the decision between the 3 bookshelf models.

If all 3 are within your budget, I’d go with EX’s.
