Titans or RAALs for Lunas that are being used as desktop speakers. Probably 50% music listening/50% youtube, computer stuff, and gaming.

Got my order in this morning for a pair with the titan tweeters. These should be perfect for a small system in our home library. I was originally looking at mini monitors from the usual suspects.. Harbeth, Spendor, etc., but I loved my original 170s so much that it was kind of no brainer to go with these. I've got a few amps to pair with them, but the intent is to use my Marantz M1 to simplify things.

Can't wait to see how far Dave's speakers have come since the classic 170s.

Placed my titan Luna order as well! They’ll be replacing my htm-200 rears in my HT room!
Hoping they throw a nice wide soundstage and will blend with my titan ELXs!
    Happy thanksgiving folks!

What music genres do you listen to most?

A wide spectrum of genres...folk/americana, classic rock, hip hop, jazz, and country would likely be the top (in no particular order). These lunas would be hooked to a bel canto solid state class D amp.

I did a listening session with Dina a while back with the ELX floorstanders and slightly preferred the titan domes over the RAALs on those (at least with the amps you had set up). Not sure if that comparison would carry over to the lunas though.

Based on your music tastes and the fact that you preferred the Titan dome over the better RAAL ribbon tweeter in the towers (compare do the ribbon used in the Luna), I'd recommend going with the Titan version
