Curtis, I was trying to find a used pair of Sierra 1's on Ebay or Audiogon since I joined the forum but it seems once they hit the auctions they get snapped up. So, when I noticed v2 was out, I just had to order a pair with the $50 discount figuring into the decision as well. I've never owned a factory-direct speaker before let alone one made in the U.S.A and that of course influenced my choice. It's an added touch to be able to chat with the designer if I have a question.
