Yes, it was very good. Brown Sabbath - never heard of them. A quick search looks like it's a band from Austin called Brownout, with a Latin Funk twist.

See it on Amazon has mp3 download (and CD, but asking $45). Vinyl not available. Track list looked cool, so I downloaded the mp3 version of the album (only 6.99). Will give it a listen later.

As a fan of Black Sabbath (who isn't?) - this is great! Thanks for the recommendation! Enjoying both Brown Sabbath and Jazz Sabbath, leaning a bit more towards Jazz Sabbath.

Interesting how Jazz Sabbath came about -- formed by Adam Wakeman (touring keyboardist - and guitar - for Black Sabbath and Ozzy).

Rage Against The Machine - Evil Empire

As a bass player I love his bass tone on this album. So much more than their first album. Mainly the difference is he switched from a Stingray to a Fender Jazz Bass.

Today I am enjoying The War on Drugs latest release:

"I Don't Live Here Anymore"

It is excellent.... Not quite at the same level as their best "Lost in the Dream" - but that was a near perfect album IMO.

Latest release on vinyl. Very good pressing. Music is good, as well, although not as dark/heavy/moody as his work with Alice In Chains or some of his earlier solo releases.
