speaker size setting for 170s?

Does the Integra have selectable crossover points? My Outlaw 1050 has 6 settings(60,80,100,120,150 and 200hz)when the speakers are set to small. I have my 170's, along with the center and surrounds, set to small with a 80hz crossover setting in the receiver. I turned the sub crossover all the way up to it's 150hz max, letting the receiver handle all bass management. This gets the sub's crossover out of the way. The system sounds great!

Yes, I can set the sub's crossover point to 80, 100, or 120. That makes sense to set the sub's crossover to its highest point and set the receiver to 80. That's the plan! Thanks for the reply.

Try it at 80 then.

I have my 340's and 170's set to small and crossed at 80hz.

Play around with it and see what you like best.

Todd, I also have a 5.1 system consisting of 4 170s and a 340 center with a VTF-2 sub. I have all of the Ascends set to small with the receiver crossover set @ 80Hz(but then my Onkyo TX-DS595 has 80Hz as the ONLY option []). Sounds great!!! Enjoy![]

Slightly off topic, but didn't you once have your 340s crossed at 60hz? Did you decide 80hz sounds better or does your new pre-pro (congrats, by the way!) not allow for a 60 hz crossover? Just curious.

Yes...I did have them crossed at 60hz. One day I played around a lot with the crossover it sounded like my rooms interaction with the speakers and where I had the placed was resonating a bit. It went away when I moved the speakers or changed the crossover.....since I could not really keep the speakers where they sounded best, I changed the crossover.
