I use Acoustic Research interconnects (component cables, optical and coax audio cables) from both my dvd/cd player and my HD box. I bought them from Best Buy. They are at least half the price of Monster. I have no complaints, everything looks and sounds great.

I just recently replaced most of my mash of analog interconnect cables with http://www.bluejeanscable.com and I am very happy with them. For digital I have one AR optical and one AR coaxial digital....I got them a while ago from Best Buy. For speaker cables I made my own from Canare 4S11.

The sky is the limit when it comes to cable purchases. I sweated this decision just as I suppose you are now- there are so many options at so many price levels. I opted for the Parts Express' label cables because I just couldn't convince myself to spend the mega-bucks on some of the others. To me they sound just fine but I have nothing else to compare to.

I just order about $200.00 worth or cables from bluejeanscable I have talked to them this week I fell really good about their products I feel that they are a way better product then moster or any other cable company out their but I could be wrong?
