attention all members just talked to james at ascend they will offer the 340's to be painted like the 170's but he could not give me a price on them

I seem to recall the 170s were quoted $140 per pair in order to custom paint, so I'm guessing the 340s would be around $200 or less per pair.

Here's the one HSU sub available in silver and it looks beautiful. Given that both companies use the same cover, it should give you a fair idea how the Ascends would look. (plus, there is a real world picture of the 170s already posted on this site a couple months back).

The Hsu's finish is a silver version of the vacuum formed vinyl. The painted Ascends are a semi-gloss automotive quality painted finish.
