Default got the wrong kind of sand?

I realize I've usually seen "playground" sand as recommended for filling the speaker stands, but I forgot and bought the kind that's kept in the bag to weight to a vehicle (Quikrete Tubesand). Won't work?

It was only 3 bucks, and can use it on our icy driveway, so nothing much lost.

The sand needs to be clean and dry. That is the criteria for putting anything in the stands.

Playground sand is treated to be safe for kids, cleaned, and dried....I would go back and get it.

The tube sand is courser and contains the junk sand, such as small pebbles. It is not filtered or considered clean.

Pick up play sand, but make certain it is dry.

I got a bag of the stuff at Toys R Us for about $5, and ended up only needing about 2/3 of the bag to fill my Sanus stands.
