Hey Curtis, little late to this party, but always liked Morphine, and these two bands are just what I needed!

I had to search for the post....it was 14 years ago!!

side note, a friend of mine dated the late Mark Sandman before Morphine was a band. That is how I was introduced to Morphine. They were in town playing at the Troubadour, she found out, and a few of us decided to go, some of us loved their music, and she got to say hello to Sandman.

Eva Cassidy - Live at Blues Alley

WOW. I bought this cd years ago and must have forgot about it. Just put it on. Amazing live recording, like give you goosebumps good. I believe it was her last show before she died at age 33. The 2nd track - Stormy Monday is just incredible. Also an amazing version of Bridge Over Troubled Waters and Fields of Gold. The whole cd is great.

These S2EXv2/Rhythmik combo make my living room sound like I am in this club.

Yes, me too - but I find her work heartbreaking, especially knowing about her tragically short life.

Also a big fan, and on our music server at the office for regular demo material. A true once in a lifetime talent.

I'm very happy with the way my Eva Cassidy CDs sound. It's also why I prefer Americana music. It sounds authentic.
