I was going to have a friend pick up an extra one for me, but it was one per customer.

A3s are $199 at BestBuy. If you buy today or tomorrow BB has a 2 free HD DVD discs offer with any HD DVD player this week. Add that to the 2 in the box and the 5 by mail that is 9 "free" discs. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1186003898783

Yeah....my friend was able to get more than one because most of the employees were not well informed.

I dropped the kids off at school at got to WM at 6 mins after 8 and all 24 were gone. Everyone in the checkout line had just one.

To bad you didn't stop in the night before and hide one behind something bogus in another isle!

Actually, you couldn't have done that - not at my stores at least. They had them in the back on crates and didn't even have them available until 8am - and they didn't even put them on the floor; you had to wait in line at the back counter to get one. I'm really glad I jumped on this deal. Transformers on HD-DVD was fantastic.

Just ordered the Toshiba HD-A1,for audio cd listening. Took a chance here. Can't beat the price. I found these links convincing.
