Dummies' guide to connecting wire to binding posts

just about all binding posts have a whole in them for just that reason

I figured that out, per above. However, you cant see the hole unless you unscrew it at least halfway out. This is the first item i've bought that had binding posts like that, be it speakers or anything else.
