Wine needs to breathe a bit, clothes need to stretch before they are comfortable, engines need to run a while before they reach optimum performance, loudspeakers need to break in.

I seem to have an opposite reaction. Perhaps I'm too easy to please. They never sound as good as that first time, to me. Same with my **** 901s (now residing in the basement) and Wharfedale Diamond Anniversary 7s, which I was told HAD to be broken in.

I'm still enjoying my CBM 170s, and even more importantly, they, and the Hsu sub, have very strong WAF!
