    Quinn,

I would have to agree. When taking the speakers to the shop for comparing, the soundstage and imaging are definitely nicer.

    Hey Quinn,

Since everyone is out of the house, figured I would move the speakers out from the TV to see if I could hear any differences. Would agree with you and Curtis that the imaging was much better. The one thing that stood out to me was the main vocals were more centered and just overall better. Just another reason I guess to go with a FP when it is time for us to replace this TV.

Maybe another argument in favor of a plasma screen too.

I wonder how much further in front of a CRT (or any other thick TV) the speakers would have to be in order to show improvement.

JohnnyC. - how much space did you seperate the two for your experiment?

    Gregisme,

Normally the fronts are only about an inch in front of the TV. I moved them about 10 inches in front today when I did my little experiment.

Johnny- I agree. In my post about it under Video Displays I said "...imaging, imaging, imaging."
