how high is the ceiling? Could you mount them from the ceiling instead?

Haven't measured, but it is not very high. Standard height I would say
On my left side I have a wall where I could mount, and yes I could do it in the ceiling, but I hear it is a PITA to fix if I ever decide to take them down (i.e. sell the house) so I'd rather not go that route.
Alternative would be shorter stands and point speakers upwards a bit, I guess..
