You'll have to give us some details on what you are listening to (e.g. what percentage movies/music/multichannel music). All of your options are good ones (my setup is just like your second choice).

Lets see...probably about 80% movies.....a little music but definitely mostly home theater stuff. My room is about 15x16.

I'm running option B (with a Hsu VTF-2 sub) and I've been every pleased.

Well i went with option C to be coupled with a STF-2 sub and a H/K AVR630 receiver. Now its sit and wait for the mail!!
I will post back what I think of everything...although this is my first A/V setup so Im sure Ill be blown away too much to post much of a critique!!

NICE!! Close to my setup....I have a VTF-3...and an HK525(but now have an external power amp)

i hope i dont regret not splurging for the VTF-3...but with the 399.00 price tag with free shipping from hsuresearch i just couldnt pass up the STF-2 value.
