    Chris,

    I just use an L-bracket from Home Depot. I will try and get some pictures up.

    Thanks Curtis. I am actually going over to HD in about 30 minutes for something else, so I will take a look. If it is a standard L bracket, how do you achieve adjustability, if at all?

    I just went by the Dolby preferences, and luckily did not need an adjustability. These are my surrounds and pointed toward each other.

    Thanks for the pics. I did see those brackets when I was over at HD. I won't be able to pull off that type of mount with where the speakers are going unless I turn my speakers on their side. I'll have to experiment a bit but I don't think these will sound good oriented like that. Regardless, the pics give me some good ideas.

    BTW, I assume you have not had any issues with the upside-down orientation of your 170's?

    no problems with the 170's being upside down...in fact, Ascend suggested that to me since they would be close to the ceiling.
