Re: Car Enthusiast Thread
Thanks, Jay.
Yup, standing on the gas is good for a pucker or two, even if moving at 30 - 40 mph...but that's part of the fun! Ever since I saw MadMax for the first time wanted a car with a blower. Maybe one day I'll even add Nitrous just for the hell of it.

Nice Miata. I almost bought one of those many years ago.

Thanks! This is my second one. The first one I bought for $300 as a parts car, then I somehow got it running and sold it. Then I hunted for a nicer one, which was harder than I imagined. This one was about 5 hours away from me.
Re: Car Enthusiast Thread
What a pretty Miata! I see quite a few of those at track days, they really handle well even in stock form.

I'm glad you guys like it!
I've done a lot of restoration-type work to it, replacing what I can with Genuine Mazda parts. They still make a lot of those parts. One thing I'm really happy with is the valve cover. I was replacing the gasket and decided to polish it.

I also did a full audio installation. Alpine mechless head unit, two matching JBL amps, some (new old stock) Crystal Mobilesound components from like 2001 in the doors, and a 10" JL Audio sub in a sealed enclosure. I like how the amp rack turned out. It all sounds great too.

I also have these new wheels for it but I still need tires but I've been more focused on other things lately.

Re: Car Enthusiast Thread
Wow I bet your car absolutely ROCKS with that sound system! Nothing better than cruising with great tunes playing with clarity and authority.
That valve cover is sweet, looks like the engine bay is clean, and well detailed.
What size will the wheel/tire package be?
