Noticed something Funny with my 170 the other night

I was watching a movie a few nights ago with my girlfriend and her dog. There was some dog barking in one scene that came primarily out of the front right. The way my front right has to be positioned there is alot of space behind it. Once the dog started barking in the movie, my girl friend's dog freaked out, and went running to the space behind the speaker barking and looking around furiously. It amazed me that the speaker is so clear sounding it can confuse even a dogs ears !

My wife has done the same thing with background noise in movies such as wind or rain. She'll look around like, "I didn't know it was raining." The Ascends faithfully re-create sound to a degree that a "budget" system shouldn't be able to. She also crawls around behind the speakers and barks on occasion........just kidding honey.
