I'm sure everyone here has seen this movie more than once. I watched it (in parts) again yesterday. I felt that the video quality was very poor in some parts. Fuzzy with a slight strobe effect. Can't do a search on avs at the moment in dvd/software because they're doing maintenance, but I was wondering if the poor video quality was commonplace on this DVD?

Aaron,
It has been a while since I have seen it, but I think I read that this look was intentional, to show a slight difference between reality and The Matrix. I believe you can notice it very easily in the opening credits with the Warner Bros. logo.

The whole movie was also given a green tint.

Johnny, that is interesting. sorta' reminds me of saving private ryan. i wondered why it happened on some scenes and not all of them, but i got stuck replaying the lobby scene over and over. :)
thanks!

If you're talking about PQ, I know the original DVD release
was roundly criticized for that issue.
However, it has since been remastered and rereleased as part
of the trilogy, so you might want to take a look at one of those
copies.
Warner Home Video is kinda notorious for sloppy quality control.
I picked up "Camelot" and was completely shocked by how bad
the transfer was. And this was a big special edition DVD release!
