Would the Duo pair with the Sierra 1 L/R? Wondering if this would be ok or would be better off with a Sierra 1 Center.

I think it'll pair just fine. Is there a possibility that you'll someday upgrade your 1's to 2's or 2-EX's? If so, than definitely go with the Duo.
