Hello to the Ascend Acoustics community. Thanks for the add to the forum.

Here is my Home Theater setup today.

Denon X3400H
CMT 340 SE for LCR
CBM 170 SE for LS/RS
Yamaha In Ceiling for Atmos (Top Middles)
SVS 20-39i Cylinder Sub (older version of the PC-2000)
Sony X700 Bluray (4k/HDR) - To allow playback of Atmos on certain 4K discs.
BenQ 2050 projector (1080p only)
Silver Ticket 120" Screen
DIY Acoustic panels

I am always learning and growing. I am interested in learning what the community has to offer. And I also offer my knowledge and experience as well.

Welcome! That looks like a great setup. I'm guessing you're a Gentle Giant fan? I just ordered Octopus on blu ray. Or you're just a tall, nice guy...

That IS real tall, I'm only 6' 4"...
Nice setup. How do you like your two ceiling speakers for Atmos? Do you feel the need to add another two speakers?

I would love to add the additional 2 overhead speakers. I feel that it would give me more front-to-back movement with the sounds. However, that is another step-up in receiver. I currently have the Denon X3400H. I would need to step up to the X4000 series. It was a little out of my budget at the time. Maybe the future will provide the opportunity to upgrade again. Right now I am working on a second subwoofer. I currently have the SVS 20-39PCi, but have just purchased an HSU VTF2-MK5 as a second sub. Price is right, and I think it will blend very well with what I already have.
