No idea how it happened but one of my beautiful Cherry Towers
has a small chip that has exposed the wood. its not deep but enough
to be noticed, I know bamboo doesn't take to stain as most other woods
has anyone found a good touch up to at least make it even less noticeable ?

Thank You! Ray

Have you searched for something like this (may have luck at your local HW store): Minwax 63486000 Wood Finish Stain Marker, Cherry

Yes, That was the first thing I tried. It did not do the trick.
I dont expect a perfect fix (its the size of the end of a cotton swab)
just a decent fill in, thanks for the suggestion!

I have found that a typical wax touch up pencil for furniture in combination with a sharpie (gently feathering the sharpie with your finger) works well for small touch-ups.
