Used Sierra 1's with NrT Upgrade

So a good friend has introduced me to an individual who is looking to sell his 5 year old Sierra 1's with the NrT upgrade. Finish is Piano Black and the speakers are described as being in good condition with only minor cosmetic flaws.

Asking price is $715 - any feedback regarding whether to go with this or whether I should purchase new (approx. $1100).

That is a good price but it is a tough call to compare buying used vs new. Will this person allow you to return them if you don't like the way they sound or if they are not in the condition you expect them to be in?
