Hi, I want to set up a small stereo system for the kitchen/nook area for music streaming and was inquiring to see if the Sonos connect amp would be sufficient to power some ascend bookshelf speakers. The connect amp only states 55w per channel I noticed the minimum requirement for the Sierra 1s is 45w. Thanks

I recently set this exact system up for a local friend of mine. Just a pair of Sierra-1 off the connect amp in his main listening area - which is large. We used this for a New Year's party and the system filled the room with ease, even for dancing and no subwoofer.

Unless your room is huge, you are good to go :)
