I just ordered a pair of SP-27 stands from Skylan.

Who did you contact at Skylan to get the discounted price include shipping?

Also, have you thought about how to secure the speakers onto stands? Blu-tac or something else?

There was no discount on the Skylan stands. His website lists the prices in Canadian Dollars. Apparently he is running a one man show. A very delightful dude.
It will take 2 or 3 weeks to receive my stands with custom top plate.
The stands come with neoprene pads, he recommended only a small blob of blu-tac in the center.
