Good afternoon everyone,
I'm getting ready to mount my HTM-200's on shelves on my rear wall. My couch is flush with the rear wall and I will have to have the speakers facing the listening position. How low or how high can I have the rear speakers ?

The Dolby recommendation is "just above ear height". This is, of course, when seated. I have also seen "2 to 3 feet above ear height".

FWIW, it is recommended not having the listening position ( couch) flush with the rear wall to avoid boomy bass. It is suggested to have the couch at least 2-3 feet and also have some sort of bass absorption panels on the rear wall. Of course all this is not possible in REAL world so you will have to make do with what ever you can.

Just my 0.000002 cents:D
