In particular those of you that have 3 Sierra monitors across the front in your HT setup?

Custom! You should be able to go to any custom woodworker and get exactly what you want.

These were made by a former Sierra owner that was a woodshop teacher. He bought a bunch of bamboo ply, and offered to make stands. I told him the height I needed, and he gave a couple of options on the column width. I filled them with sand, and they weigh about 50 lbs. each.

Guess I should have said that are available on the present market.

On a side note- I just moved, from Houston, to the north side of the Columbus, OH area. When I get settled in I'll need to figure how to meet up for a beer.

I've already ordered the Sierra 2 upgrade kits.

Excellent! You should be a happy camper once you hear them.

Are you upgrading from original Sierra-1's or NrT's? If they are the -1's how old are they? I have the original cabinets from the first production run back in 2007 and had issues fitting the new woofer in the cutout.

I'm also in the first run of cabinets. My serial numbers are in the teens.

I'd suggest test fitting the new woofer before starting anything else. I had to open the flange counterbore ID by several millimeters. It was not fun but the results were worth it.

I'm using a pair of Sanus SF30 stands [http://goo.gl/l0KCao] with my Sierra-2 speakers. The stands are sturdy enough that I didn't bother filling the tubes with sand or shot, though I suppose people with small children might want to consider doing so.

I also bought some Everbilt Beige Round Felt Threaded 1-1/2 in. Stem Glides from Home Depot [http://goo.gl/2yHyjd], and attached them to the screw holes in the bottom of the stands. That allowed me to properly level the stands, since my floor is a bit uneven.

I'm also using the Sanus SF30 stands for my sierras. Filled them with sand, using blu-tack up top and some threaded carpet spikes on the bottom.

Filling them with sand took a while because the holes are pretty small. No leakage though and they're nice and heavy

I did buying the Sanus stands.

I now have a new issue. I never noticed to HT room ceiling is only 87" high and not 96" like the rest of the basement. All the air ducts are run above it. I can't reroute them as one wall is the basement slab wall and the staircase is on the other wall.

About the only way I can get a screen larger than 100-106" is to move to an acoustically transparent screen(ATS) and I'm guessing they aren't truly transparent. I also had planned the 3 Sierras 2s to be at equal heights, all on 22" stands, just under the bottom edge of the screen. But, I would have to put the CC lower if I don't move to an ATS. If I do that, do I lay it on side and turn the Raal 90 degrees like Dave does for the Sierra 1 CC or leave it upright? Use an Auralex MoPad to angle up? Lower all 3 and use Auralex MoPads to give all of them the same slight upward angle? Do I even need the Raal tweeters as ear level as possible?

How far off the wall do the Sierra 2s need to be if I move to an ATS? I can move the screen forward up to 20" but that puts the furthest back my first seating position can be at 11.25' from the screen and makes it more challenging for the second row, on the riser, to see the bottom of the screen over the first row occupants. Can't really lift the second row much as 6" of riser and 7-8" of projector drop leaves about 6' under the projector and I'm taller than that. So, I'm not sure if I can actually get a bigger screen or if I'd just be moving the same size screen, or smaller, closer to the viewers going the ATS route.
