question on 340 center channel

Hi,

got a question about mounting the center channel.
I have a Sony 55W900A that weighs 48.5lbs with the stand. Can i place the TV on Top of the center channel? I mean, can i use the center channel as support for the TV??

my other option would be to mount the center channel above the TV

or the mount the TV and place the center speaker underneath it.

Option 1 would be the easiest and cheapest. what do you think? can center channel holds that weight?

Hi Blarf,

Absolutely no problem placing your Sony TV on top of the 340SE center. The cabinet can support that amount of weight with ease :)
