I'm looking for bookshelves and came across Sierra-1.
I was wondering whether they would be loud enough to fill the size of my room.
Along with 2 Sierra-1 I would get Sierra-1 Center and most likely Rythmik LV12R sub.
Not looking for anything crazy loud as I have neighbours on one side of the wall of my townhouse, kitchen side.
Room is big, the TV stand will divide room into two and speakers will be standing on the TV stand.

Are Sierra-1 good for movies ? I like warm sound, nothing too harsh on ears, and I don't listen much to music.

How far will be sitting from the speakers?

The Sierra-1's work excellent with anything. The environment makes the difference.

I love my Sierra-1's for movies. Sound effects, music scores and dialog all come through clearly and realistically. I would never describe them as harsh.

I'm thinking I'll be seating around 10ft away from the speakers.

The Sierra-1's will be fine.

With the open space, it is the subwoofer that will need to be capable of filling it.

Thanks for reply, I guess it's off to sub hunting.
