Is it worth it to upgrade to the CBM-170 SE from the CBM-170??

I have 3 CBM-170 LCR currently and I am wondering if there is a big difference from the CBM-170 SE?? Would be worth the trouble to sell the old ones and get the SE ones or just keep enjoying the CBM-170 :D

If you want an upgrade the SE will not be a substantial one over the non SE, IMHO. I went through the same scenario many years ago with my 170's. I auditioned a pair of 340SE's at an owners' home but felt that was not enough to make me want to replace the 170's.

When the Sierra-1's were announced an upgrade was definitely in my future. The differences were substantial and I never felt like I'd made a bad decision.

Hi, thanks. I will keep using the CBM-170 speakers. The Sierra would be out of my budget. I am pretty sure the Sierra sound great. :)
