Hi guys,

So, my Sierras-1 (NrT) are arriving today and the speaker stands I have now are just too tall (about 46"). Looking for something under 37" I guess. With large enough base to hold these somewhat deep speakers. Any suggestions???

thank you.

In my situation, I went with the SF26" but up to 32" should suffice.:)

I use the Sanus 34" speaker stands SF34 and I am very happy with them. I just use some blu-tack to secure my Sierras to the stands. I also filled them with some sand for some extra stability. They also make them in 30" and 26" versions.

You may want to consider stands that once you put the speaker on, are at about ear level when seated.

Found some used Sanus UF26 for my Sierra-1's. They looked great with the speakers, and put them at a nice height for couch listening (when you sink into the stuffing!) . I personally wouldn't go much lower though. Want to keep the tweeter right at, or somewhat above ear level.

If you have piano black speakers, these might be a really cool match:

I really like those stands, GirgleMirt. Quite beautiful. If they had some around 45" height, I'd be all over those puppies. Will definitely keep them in mind if things change.

My situation is the exact opposite of OP's. Carry on. :)

I personally love the Paradigm J-29 stands, but they are very expensive. They are beautiful to look at though and have a track for the wires and are sand-fillable.
