Sierra STC "Horizons" for use as Mains?

I started this for those of us who might be interested in buying a pair of the new Horizons to use as front mains, stand mounted.

Dave started another thread where he commented that they sounded really good this way, better horizontally. I would like to mount the speakers vertically.

I suspect the Sierra-1 centers aren't just Sierra-1's turned on their side, but I don't know what was done.

Any thoughts, or suggestions?

Curious as to why you think it sounds like it is on steroids. Unless you are referring to the Sierra "Horizon"?
