I am a happy owner of Ascend Acoustics 340 L C R & 170 surrounds with an hsu sub. My room is 14x14 with hardwood floors from which I have noticed a change in sound I now do not need as much volume.I am considering upgrading to sierra 1 nrt's across the front and moving the 340's to surround duty do you think that this would be overkill in my room? Also I have narrowed my choice of receivers to the Onkyo 808, yamaha RX-A2000 & marantz7005 what do you think would play best with this speaker setup?

I have the original Sierra-1 F/C/L being driven by a Denon 1909 with 90WPC and its sufficient in my 13x24 room. The nRT Sierra-1 is slightly more efficient (.5 to 1 db) than the original Sierra-1 so anything 90WPC and up should be fine. Sorry, I don't have any experience with the 340s.

When purchased as a brand new factory assembled set, the NrT option will add $300 to the price of a pair of Sierra-1 (any finish.)
