Looks promising. How close is the technology to consumer level implementation? Will it be an add on box, like an EQ, or built in to a processor/receiver?

Mag Neato that's a good question. It seems that the recording should be done in 3D to be genuine 3D. This would be a giant step forward in 2 channel sound. If a processor were available our CDs and LPs could be greatly improved. However the BIG question is when oh when will the Towers be available. Got my music, new Cronus Magnum tube amp.... need speakers!

great article! to Dave: what ascends were used? :) did the researcher happen to be a fan of ascends, or did he approach you specifically for this project.

The research scientist chose to use our CBM-170SE. These speakers happen to be a popular choice for research labs ;)

I was not even aware of this research until I read the article myself :o
