Thanks Ed...

You're welcome! My big B-day purchase was the Pioneer 563a player.....should've held off a little longer, as my wife likes to preach, and then I would be able to replace my broken TV so I can actually enjoy the Pioneer!

I got two things for myself.....a new vacuum....and got my kneebrace rebuilt (ACL injury in college).

I did get a nice new BBQ from my family...it will be used tonight.

Oh man, you should have told me you were getting a BBQ. I may not know a lot about speakers, but I know way too much about 'cue! What did you get?

-Smokey.

Thanks, the Management.

They got me a Sears Kenmore BBQ....this one:

Nothing special...but seems well built.

Curtis, I guess I'm "old school" but IMHO charcoal is the only way to BBQ! I use a Weber 22.5 inch One Touch Gold Kettle. But then since you're in "Cali" there may be some anti-smog laws I don't know about. Anyway enjoy your special day. [:D]

Well, I never let propane anywhere near my food, except for when I'm deep frying a turkey, but I understand that some people like it. ;)

Have a great birthday weekend!

-Smokey. (... off to the butcher to pick up some spareribs that are going to be smoked over oak and pecan for 6-8 hours tomorrow. Now that is going to be some bbq!)

Thanks, the Management.

All you need now is for the "Bandit" to bring over some Coor's!!!!

Coors!?!? Maybe some Shiner Bock and you've got a deal! ;)

-Smokey.

Thanks, the Management.

I'll try anything once! Lately I like your everyday variety of Carona Extra, although you can now buy Molson "XXX" in the States. If you ever happen to be in Cleveland, try The Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s Dortmunder Gold!

Ahh, memories of Shiner Bock at the Dixie Chicken. I feel, uh, less than 30 again.

Since we had a really good month in shipments we had a little BBQ to celebrate today! No propane here, just good old Kingsford in a tabletop grill. The burgers were mighty tastey, as were the JohnsonVille Brats. No beer of any sort(work ethics ya'know!), but the Mountain Dew hit the spot.

Oh no, there is an Aggie on the board. There goes the neighborhood. I grew in Austin I think all I drank from 16 to 26 was Shiner Bock. I can't stand the stuff now!

I was only living there for a year while I was in grad school. Not a whole lot of good memories about the school except drinking cheap dark beer while playing dominos with other impoverished grad students. And football. Good football. Wait, good BBQ too.

The aggie grad degree is on the wall, but in my heart, I'll always remain a Gaucho.

Califoria to College Station must have been quite the culture shock!

Strange corner of the world. I've lived in a number of places, but nowhere else do you get that 'stepford wives' feel for eerie conformity.

Now, Now, that conformity is tradition not cult like behavior.
