Need Floorstander suggestions $500 price range

I am looking for a set of floorstanders to go with a Yamaha RX 797 100watt 2 channel receiver. I will be running without a subwoofer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to keep it in the $500 price range.

I have a pair of Cambridge Soundworks T205s and use the same Yamaha receiver for my second system. While they are not as good as my Sierra-1s, I really like them. They sound great after a brief break in period and look awesome. They have the cherry wood finish on clearance with free shipping (check the clearance outlet on their site) and they are at the price you are looking for.

Right now I have a pair of Polk Monitor 70's hooked up. Do you think the T205S would be an upgrade? I can return the Polks, just bought them a couple days ago. I am wondering if my expectations are too high for floorstanders in this price range?
